Essential Tips for This Tour

πŸ§₯

What to Pack

Carry warm woolens even in summer β€” temperatures drop below 10Β°C in Shimla and Manali evenings. Pack sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen SPF 50+, sunglasses and a light rain jacket.

πŸ”

Altitude Awareness

Rohtang Pass (3,978m) may cause breathlessness or headache. Stay hydrated, avoid rushing and consider Diamox (consult a doctor). Our guides are trained to assist with any altitude concerns.

πŸ“±

Mobile Connectivity

BSNL and Airtel work best in Himachal. Jio has limited coverage at higher altitudes. Download offline Google Maps before travel. Carry a power bank β€” charging can be unreliable in remote areas.

πŸ’΅

Carry Enough Cash

ATMs are available in Shimla and Manali town but can run dry. Activity stalls at Solang and Rohtang are cash only. Keep an extra β‚Ή3,000–5,000 for activities and personal shopping.

πŸ›‚

Rohtang Permit

Rohtang requires an online permit (β‚Ή500/car, 24 hrs in advance). Only 1,200 non-local vehicles per day. We handle all permit bookings β€” completely hassle-free for you!

πŸ“…

3 Destinations in 7 Days

This is a well-paced itinerary β€” not rushed. Each destination gets adequate time. Day 3 is the longest drive (Shimla to Manali, ~260 km, ~7 hrs) β€” start early and enjoy the scenic Kullu Valley en route.
