Kasol& ManaliParvati Valley + Adventure Capital — 6 Days / 5 Nights
Serene Parvati Valley Meets Thrilling Manali
AK Tours & Travel, Chandigarh, brings you this unique 6-day dual-destination package combining two of Himachal Pradesh's most contrasting yet equally stunning locations — the bohemian, river-side tranquility of Kasol in the Parvati Valley and the snow-peaked adventure capital of Manali.
Kasol is known as the "Mini Israel of India" — a tiny village on the banks of the Parvati River, surrounded by dense pine forests and towering Himalayan peaks. It's a haven for trekkers, backpackers and nature lovers. From Kasol, explore Kheerganga trek, Manikaran Sahib hot springs and Chalal village.
From Kasol, we drive to the legendary Manali — where Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, Solang Valley paragliding and Rohtang Pass glaciers await. Two completely different Himachal experiences, one perfectly planned trip.
Package Highlights
Your Complete 6-Day Itinerary
Early morning departure from Chandigarh. Drive via Bilaspur, Mandi and Bhuntar — entering the Parvati Valley just after Bhuntar. The road from Bhuntar to Kasol (~30 km) is one of the most scenic drives in Himachal — pine forests, the rushing Parvati River and Himalayan peaks on all sides. Arrive Kasol by afternoon. Check into riverside camp or hotel. Evening stroll along the Parvati River bank and explore Kasol's famous Israeli cafes and local market. Overnight Kasol.
After breakfast, visit the sacred Manikaran Sahib — a revered Sikh Gurudwara and Hindu temple complex built around natural boiling hot springs. The springs are considered sacred and you can dip your hands or feet in designated pools. Return to Kasol and take the short 3 km Chalal trek through dense pine forest along the river — one of the most peaceful walks in the Parvati Valley. Option to extend further to the scenic Tosh village (accessible by road, ~22 km) — a remote mountain village with stunning glacier views. Back to Kasol by evening. Overnight Kasol.
For trekkers: Optional early morning Kheerganga Trek — a stunning 12 km (one way) trek through dense forests and rocky terrain to the natural hot spring pool at 2,950m. Note: This is a full-day trek and requires an overnight stay at Kheerganga (add-on, not included). For non-trekkers: Morning leisure at Kasol — cafe hopping, Parvati River side sit-out, last photos. Post-lunch checkout and drive to Manali via the scenic Bhuntar-Kullu route (~80 km, ~3 hrs). Check in Manali hotel. Evening free at Old Manali. Overnight Manali.
Full day of Manali sightseeing. Morning visit to the legendary Hadimba Devi Temple — a 1,500-year-old pagoda-style shrine built amid towering deodar cedar trees, dedicated to Goddess Hadimba. Proceed to Manu Temple and then to Vashisht village — soak in the natural hot sulphur springs (a perfect treat after Kasol's walking). Explore the colourful Tibetan Monastery and Tibetan Market. Afternoon at Old Manali's famous cafes. Evening Mall Road shopping — woolens, silver jewellery, pashmina and dried fruits. Overnight Manali.
The most thrilling day of the trip! Early start to Solang Valley (2,480m) — India's top snow and adventure hub. Try tandem paragliding (stunning aerial views over Manali valley!), zorbing, ATV rides, skiing (winter) and snow tubing. Drive up to Rohtang Pass (3,978m, seasonal, permit arranged by us) — witness glaciers, snowfields and the breathtaking Lahaul Valley stretching below. Stop at Beas Kund viewpoint on the return drive. An adrenaline-packed day to remember! Overnight Manali.
After breakfast, hotel check-out and begin the return drive to Chandigarh via Mandi and Bilaspur (310 km, ~8 hrs). En-route stop at the scenic Pandoh Dam and Sundernagar Lake for photographs. Arrive Chandigarh by evening — drop-off at your preferred location. Tour concludes here. From Kasol's riverside serenity to Manali's mountain thrills — we hope this journey stays with you forever! 🙏

Essential Tips for This Tour
What to Pack
Warm layers for evenings (even in summer), comfortable trekking shoes for Kasol walks, sunscreen, insect repellent for Parvati Valley, rain jacket and a small daypack for treks.
Mobile Connectivity
BSNL and Airtel work in Kasol. Jio has very limited signal in Parvati Valley — especially beyond Kasol towards Kheerganga. Download offline maps. Power banks are essential in both locations.
Cash is King in Kasol
There is only one ATM in Kasol (often out of cash). Carry enough cash from Bhuntar or Chandigarh. UPI works at some cafes. Cards not widely accepted in Kasol's local market.
Kheerganga Trek
The 12 km (one way) trek takes 4–5 hours. It requires basic fitness. Carry water, snacks, trekking poles and rain gear. The hot spring reward at the top is absolutely worth it! Book as an add-on.
Altitude at Rohtang
Rohtang Pass (3,978m) may cause breathlessness. Stay hydrated and go slowly. Our guides assist with any altitude issues. Permit is handled by us — no stress for you!
Kasol Respect
Kasol has a mix of local Himachali and Israeli culture. Dress modestly near Manikaran Sahib. Follow "Leave No Trace" principles on treks. Do not litter in the Parvati River — it's a protected zone.
