AK Tours & Travel presents this beautifully crafted 5-day package combining two of Himachal Pradesh's most distinctive hill stations — the vibrant Tibetan Buddhist sanctuary of Dharamshala / McLeod Ganj and the serene colonial gem of Dalhousie.
Dharamshala (the "Little Lhasa") is home to the Dalai Lama and a thriving Tibetan community — a unique blend of Indian and Tibetan culture set against the dramatic Dhauladhar mountains. Dalhousie, a Victorian-era hill station founded in 1854, is famous for its colonial architecture, pine-scented air, and proximity to the legendary "Mini Switzerland of India" — Khajjiar.

Dharamshala is approximately 240 km from Chandigarh, taking about 5–6 hours by road via Una and Kangra. We depart early morning to arrive comfortably by afternoon, leaving time for McLeod Ganj exploration in the evening.
Yes! Triund is one of India's most beginner-friendly Himalayan treks — a 9 km moderate trail taking 3–4 hours at a comfortable pace. No special equipment needed. Just good walking shoes and reasonable fitness. Our guide sets a comfortable pace for all fitness levels.
Khajjiar earned the "Mini Switzerland of India" title from the Swiss Ambassador in 1992, who was struck by its resemblance to Swiss alpine meadows. A Swiss signpost in Khajjiar even marks the exact distance to Bern — 6,194 km! The flat circular meadow surrounded by deodar forests and a central lake is indeed remarkably Switzerland-like.
Absolutely! This is one of our most family-friendly packages. Khajjiar has horse riding and zorbing for kids, Dharamshala's sights are very accessible, and Triund can be skipped for families with young children. We customise the pace for families — just let us know.
Cancellation 15+ days before travel — 90% refund. 8–14 days — 70% refund. 4–7 days — 50% refund. Less than 3 days — no refund. Free date changes up to 7 days before travel, subject to availability.
